What Is Post Frame?

Heath builds post-frame buildings, which are efficient structures whose primary framing system is comprised of wood trusses engineered by Alpine, Inc. and manufactured by Heath Buildings. These are connected to vertical timber columns or sidewall posts.

One of the benefits of post-frame construction is that it allows for economical super-insulated buildings. Our most common exterior wall covering is pre-painted 29 gauge steel siding.

As with the siding, the most common roof cladding for our post-frame buildings is pre-painted 29 gauge steel roofing. The foundation system of a post-frame building is unique. The poles can be buried in the ground eliminating the need for a footer.
